About this passenger ferry
A 35.4-metre aluminium monohull high speed passenger vessel, built in Australia in 1995 to the Wavemaster fast-ferry design and comprehensively rebuilt in 2018–2019. Passengers travel in two enclosed, airline-seated saloons with an open foredeck, side decks and an aft deck. Caterpillar C32 propulsion gives a design speed of 28.3 knots at 75% load, and 9,800 litres of fuel supports long coastal legs between island ports.
Life-saving appliances are provided for 220 persons and the vessel is documented with PMDS under the Belize flag. It lies afloat in Karachi, Pakistan — a short delivery voyage from the Gulf, the Red Sea, East Africa and South Asia — and suits island and coastal ferry routes, resort shuttles, offshore crew transfer and charter work.

How many passengers can this ferry carry?
The vessel is fitted with enclosed passenger seating on two decks and carries life-saving appliances for 220 persons. The exact certified passenger number depends on the flag and route it is registered under; the current seat plan and life raft arrangement are supplied with the specification pack.
What is the asking price for the passenger ferry?

Can the ferry be delivered to Tanzania, Zanzibar, the UAE or the Red Sea?
Yes. The vessel lies in Karachi, roughly 600–1,000 nautical miles from the Gulf ports and about 2,400 nautical miles from Dar es Salaam. Sea Keepers can arrange an own-keel delivery voyage with a delivery crew, or heavy-lift shipment for more distant destinations such as West Africa or the Caribbean.
What engines does the fast ferry have and what speed does it make?
The ferry is powered by Caterpillar C32 marine diesel propulsion (1,044.5 kW) driving a 5-blade 1,150 mm propeller, with a Perkins P50 50 kVA generator for hotel load. Design speed is 28.3 knots at 75% load. Engine hours and service records are provided on request.
Is the vessel classed and what flag does it fly?
The vessel is documented with PMDS and flies the Belize flag. Buyers can keep the existing arrangement or reflag and enter a different class society; our naval architecture team handles the plan approval, stability and survey work needed for the new administration.
Can it be used as a crew boat or converted for another role?
Yes. A 35 m aluminium monohull with 28-knot speed and large fuel capacity works well as an offshore crew boat, resort shuttle or excursion vessel. Sea Keepers can design and carry out seat-plan changes, deck modifications and equipment upgrades before delivery.
Is the ferry available for inspection?
Yes. The vessel is afloat in Karachi, Pakistan and can be inspected by appointment. We can also arrange an independent condition survey, engine trials and a video walk-through for buyers who cannot travel immediately.
Why are the vessel name, IMO number and owner not shown?
Owner, manager, registry and machinery serial details are disclosed only to qualified buyers under NDA at offer stage, which is standard practice in second-hand vessel sales. Everything needed to evaluate the vessel technically is in the specification pack.
