The Complete Liferaft Accessories Checklist for Annual Servicing

Radar reflectors, sealing clamps, floating knives, paddles, bellows, and whistles — the small items that decide whether a liferaft pack passes survey.

Back to News

Liferaft servicing fails more often on missing accessories than on the raft itself. Every annual service requires the emergency pack contents to be checked, dated, and replaced where expired — and sourcing those items quickly keeps vessels off the quay wall.

Sea Keepers supplies the full liferaft emergency pack range: aluminium and collapsible radar reflectors, sealing clamps, buoyant safety knives, buoyant paddles, bellows, ID tubes, and emergency whistles, all matched to SOLAS pack A and pack B requirements.

Radar reflectors deserve special mention — a liferaft is a tiny radar target, and a properly hoisted reflector multiplies detection range for rescue vessels. We stock both rigid aluminium and collapsible designs depending on stowage space in the raft container.

Service stations and owners can order complete accessory sets or individual items through our lifesaving catalogue, with certificates of conformity supplied for survey files.
