Water jet propulsion solves problems that propellers cannot: operating in shallow or debris-strewn water, manoeuvring precisely at low speed, and working safely around swimmers and casualties. The SKPL water jet unit range brings these advantages to builders and operators across the region.
The range covers units like the SKPL099 for smaller craft up to the SKPL180 for heavier workboats, each supplied with control panels and matched to engine power through our in-house hydrodynamics analysis.
Because the jet's intake sits flush with the hull, vessels can beach, operate over sandbars, and run rivers that would destroy a conventional propeller and shaft line. Reverse buckets give crash-stop capability and sideways thrust that makes dock handling almost trivial.
Sea Keepers supplies water jet units both as standalone products and integrated into our own vessel designs — and our engineering team handles the resistance, propulsion matching, and installation drawings for repower projects.
